The design of the home takes advantage of southern lake views and solar exposure, and reflects the client’s desire for a modern home which sits comfortably in its surroundings. By orienting living spaces to the south and service spaces to the north, the compact 1,630 SF, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, with kitchen open to a tall great room and an open tower over the stair hall, feels warm, sunny and spacious. Sliding doors close off the master suite. Materials were chosen for durability, low maintenance and energy savings.
